Pranodaya, an NGO was formed in 2002 with the aim of teaching CPR (BLS) and Basic Trauma Management to lay persons, medics and paramedics as a service to the society.
The idea of starting this NGO tooks birth while attending a party where Mr. Mehboob Rehman, our President and other members thought of doing something constructive for society. After discussion it was finally concluded that imparting knowledge will be the best form of Social service.
Common consensus was for educating the public on the issue neglected in first aid management courses i.e. CPR-BLS & Basic Trauma Management.
This is a vital technique for saving lives which are lost daily because of lack of knowledge.
Started in Oct 2002, the Pranodaya Team has conducted more than 280 workshops at various venues in and around Kanpur & this NGO, has now been able to train more than 25,000 people on techniques of CPR-BLS.
No such activity is being carried out anywhere in our country on a charitable basis till now.
